The Loose Parts Palooza, held in the spring, is our new greater community event debuting during the spring of 2023. This evening event will be an invitation for children and their parents to explore loose parts together. Loose parts are materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together. There is no set of specific directions for these materials. Some examples include: buttons, tubes, tiles, sticks, etc. Children will enjoy the open ended exploration and creativity loose parts offer as they interact with areas of invitation created by nursery school teachers and volunteers.
